Fun Infused Games is proud to announce the release of the first update to our retro gaming tour de force “Hypership Out of Control” for the iOS platform (iPhone, iPod, and iPad) is now available. The update is free to all existing Hypership owners or $.99 for new users.

Changes for this update:

• Max speed power-up bug in super speed mode fixed. Collecting the power-up now correctly sets your ship to the previous max speed it had reached.
• Sound mixer now allows iPod music. Hypership's music volume is set to zero while iPod is active.
• Phone interruption is now handled properly. Audio should restart if you ignore an incoming call.
• Removed the accidental double tap setting off bombs when coming out of pause.
• Updated the game icon files.
• Added color to the text on the pause screen.

Fun Infused Games is proud to announce the release of their retro gaming tour de force "Hypership Out of Control" for the iOS platform (iPhone, iPod, and iPad). Released on September 15, 2011, Hypership is now available on the App Store for $.99 (US).

"The gameplay is simple but extremely addicting," said Fun Infused lead developer Kris Steele. "It's easy to sit down planning to play just one quick game and quickly lose hours of time. We probably would have finished the game a lot sooner if we weren’t so busy playing it. In hindsight, it may have been a mistake to make a game that was so much fun."

Hypership Out of Control places you inside an insanely fast spacecraft rocketing through space, accelerator pushed to the floor and brakes gone the way of the dodo. Your goal is to survive as long as you can by dodging or destroying asteroids, space mines, and floating blocks that realistically have no business being in space. The longer you live, the higher your score and the more bragging rights you will have thanks to Game Center support for Leaderboards and Achievements.

• 4 unique game modes plus forward and reverse for each.
• Game Center support for Leaderboards and Achievements.
• 6 Hyperships to play as.

The first update to Hypership Out of Control for WP7 is now available on the Windows Phone 7 Marketplace. The update (and the full version of the game) is free to all.

Changes included in this Update:

• Improved performance in-game.
• Larger particle effects in-game.
• Setting volume to zero actually stops music (previously it just muted it).
• Turning rumble off from the main menu works.
• News ticker now displayed on more screens.

Changes included in this Update:

• Ability to reverse waves for all existing game modes.
• New online high scores lists for games played in reverse.
• Added a new song that plays during the main game.
• Slightly wider lasers, reduces cheap deaths at the finish line.
• Minor graphics update to score border.
• Fixed scrolling bug on High Scores list when a guitar controller is plugged in.

Changes for this Update:

• Press Y to gift lives and revive dead players in multiplayer games.
• Added click sound when trying to use a bomb when you have none to use.
• Minor graphics update to score border.
• Minor color change to Super Speed Item to make it stand out better from coins.
• Using the trigger to drop bombs no longer drops all your bombs.
• Guest scores will no longer be shared.
• Wave 11 (bonus coin wave at end of game) is no longer counted as a wave completed.
• Playing in trial, buying the game, and then continuing in trial through several waves will no longer unlock the "Complete Game Twice" Awardment.
